Farm-Life Festival is an annual event benefitting Christmas in April, St. Mary’s County. It’s hosted by the Parlett family in Charlotte Hall.
Christmas in April, St. Mary’s County is a local chapter of Rebuilding Together, a national volunteer organization with a mission to repair homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled.
While visiting the various displays, we met Katrina, an energetic little girl, who makes and sells bracelets and donates 50% of her profits to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She donates in memory of her friend, Mattie, who had “sick muscles.”
